Priscilla Presley has replied to a request from her former lawyer Lynn Walker Wright to have the summons against her revoked and to be eliminated from the persevering with elder abuse case wherein she is a defendant.
Priscilla Presley’s reply to the lawyer Lynn Walker Wright
On September 5, Walker Wright asked the court to brush aside her from the case. On Thursday, November 7, Presley’s felony crew reacted via contesting Walker Wright’s most recent petition. In July 2024, Presley filed a lawsuit, claiming that she became defrauded of $1 million via others, inclusive of Walker Wright and her former enterprise associate Brigitte Kruse.
The lawyers for Priscilla Presley have reacted to Lynn Walker Wright, her former lawyer, attempting to have herself removed from the elder abuse case against Walker Wright and Brigitte Kruse, Presley’s former business partner.
Presley’s lawyers, Martin D. Anger, T. Wayne Harman, and Max D. Fabricant, filed a new filing on Thursday, Nov. 7, stating their opposition to Walker Wright’s Sept. 5 motion to quash the summons service and to dismiss for lack of personal jurisdiction, or forum non conveniens, which allows the court to dismiss a case if another court is better suited to handle it.
Presley, 79, claimed Kruse, Kevin Fialko, Vahe Sislyan, Walker Wright, and Priscilla Presley Partners exploited her and stole $1 million on July 18, which sparked the on-going financial elder abuse action. Presley said that Kruse, the creator of Kruse GWS Auctions, was in charge of his money.
Walker Wright, a Florida lawyer in practice, formally asked to be removed from Presley’s case in September. Walker Wright “vehemently denies” the accusations of financial elder abuse, conspiracy, fiduciary responsibility breach, and legal malpractice.
