On October 2, over two weeks prior to the One Direction singer’s untimely death at age 31, Harry and fiancée Kate Cassidy went to see his bandmate Niall Horan perform live in Argentina.
Videos posted on social media show the singer of “Strip That Down” clapping and dancing during the performance while in the audience.
Payne said that he hoped to speak with his old groupmate before Horan’s performance, stating that it might have been long overdue.
In a Snapchat video that was shared on social media on October 1, he stated, “I think we might just go and say hello.” “Niall and I haven’t spoken in a long time. We have a lot to discuss.
Additionally, I want to make amends with the boy on a few issues. No negative energy or anything. However, we simply need to speak.
The English artist had been candid about the highs and lows he experienced in the group, which also featured Zayn Malik, Harry Styles, and Louis Tomlinson, both before and after they broke up.
And while though Payne had said things about his former bandmates throughout the years (for example, that his 2017 hit “outsold everybody within the band”), he later told that he had realized some things in more recent years.
