Hunter Smith, a native of Plattsmouth, Nebraska, was enrolled at Southwest Minnesota State University’s (SMSU) MBA program. He planned to go to law school in the fall after graduating this spring. Hunter excelled as a member of the SMSU Men’s Track & Field team as a senior, competing in pole vault.
His commitment to striking a balance between academics and athletics was demonstrated by the numerous accolades he received, including the CSC Academic All-District and Academic All-NSIC championships over several seasons.
Hunter began his athletic profession at Plattsmouth High School, where he participated in go-us of a and wrestling competitions and changed into a -time country qualifier and district winner.
He started operating at SMSU in November 2023 as a Graduate Assistant in Student Center Operations, where he oversaw occasion setups, managed scholar middle personnel, and worked with clients to devise campus events.
