Kirsten Dunst couldn’t have imagined that her portrayal as a cheerleader in Bring It On would become one of her maximum iconic. At the equal time, Dunst become concerned that the movie’s popularity would possibly have a bad effect on her career.

Kirsten Dunst was already a famous actor while she appeared in Bring It On. She earned an awesome resume as a kid big name, performing in movies together with Interview with the Vampire and Jumanji. 

But while the 2000 sports activities movie initially piqued her interest, she changed into hesitant to embark on the assignment.

“We made the movie for not anything. “We had been a bit Universal film that no one cared about,” she explained in a separate Entertainment Weekly interview.

James Franco wasn’t the only actor who nearly starred in Bring It On. Reed explained in an interview with The Ringer how much effort went into getting Kirsten Dunst for Bring It On.

It turns out that Dunst initially turned down the film, but that was before Reed got involved. So the producers of Bring It On were looking for another actor to play Torrance.

Shelton made a good impression on Reed, and she would have most certainly landed the part. Fortunately for Dunst, Shelton chose another similar movie over Bring It On.
