Full Incident Details Of Miss Teen Rodeo Kansas:

Colby Community College student Emma Brungardt, 19, was murdered and four of her teammates injured in a car accident in Thomas County, at roughly 9:44 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 4, Kansas Highway Patrol claimed in a report.

The 2007 Ford F-250 pickup carrying Brungardt and her four teammates was driven by an 18-year-old Colorado guy who swerved “between the Y striking a tree row,” resulting in a single-vehicle collision at a Y intersection and a private drive. The car flipped as a result, landing upright.

Due to their injuries, the driver and Brungardt’s four teammates, who were between the ages of eighteen and twenty, were taken to Citizens Medical Center. Brungardt passed away right there.

Following the disaster, a Facebook post from Colby Community College praised the 2024 Miss Teen Rodeo Kansas, calling her “a sweet soul” who “always had a positive attitude.”

Brungardt was involved in a car accident last night with four other team members and our work-study,” the message said, accompanied by images of the departed student galloping around. Sadly, Emma chose not to leave this alone. For all the families involved, we are praying. The message added, “Her light will live on in and around the rodeo arena.”

The other team members involved in the crash were later all identified to be from Kansas and aged between 18 and 20-years-old, reported The Wichita Eagle
